Infectious Disease Fellowship Program

Thank you for your interest in the Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Baystate Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine. The fellowship has been continuously operative since l985. This clinically-oriented, fellow-friendly program is available to those who have completed a three-year ACGME accredited program in internal medicine or a medicine/pediatric program. The purpose of the program is to provide fellows with comprehensive training in the practice of infectious diseases. To achieve this goal, fellows are trained by eleven readily-accessible faculty in clinical infectious diseases, microbiology (bacteriology, mycology, mycobacteriology, serology, and virology), clinical research, and infection control/hospital epidemiology. For a narrative summary of the fellowship, go to http://academics.bhs.org/fellowship/infectious_disease_fellowship.
