This rotation can be custom designed to meet the interests of
the individual student. A broad exposure to the field
of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation can be provided or specific
areas of concentration can be elected. The majority of
the student's time will be spent seeing patients one-on-one
with the attending. Options include exposure to hospital
consults in a level one trauma center, outpatients, subacute
and EMG's. This elective is recommended for students contemplating
a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as
those anticipating a career in primary care.
No nights or weekends during this rotation.
