The Women’s Health elective for internal medicine is an
elective designed to expose the medical student to the subspecialty
area of women’s health. It is a mostly outpatient
elective which focuses on the areas of breast health, osteoporosis,
non-surgical gynecology, incontinence and comprehensive women’s
health care. The elective exposes the medical student
to several different clinics which focus on the above clinical
areas. There is also a journal club and a
