Feature Raquel Belforti DO, Internal Medicine Resident, Receives Johns Hopkins University's Housestaff GIM Research Award Project Studied Impact of Simulation Training on Residents' Confidence Levels
The second annual L. Randol Barker Award for achievement in medical education was awarded to Dr. Raquel Belforti for her abstract "The Impact of a Simulation Training Program on the Confidence of Residents to Lead and Perform Adult Resuscitation." The award carried a cash prize, an expenses-paid invitation to a celebratory dinner with Division of General Internal Medicine faculty and fellows and an opportunity to present her abstract at GIM Grand Rounds.
