ANNOUNCEMENTS
SCCM Educational Scholarship Awards recognize excellence in critical care research. The Residency Review Committee for Pathology reaccredited Baystate Medical Center's fellowship in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine for 4 years at its September 29 2006 meeting. The re-accreditation was the follow-up to the March 2006 site visit for the program. Chester Andrzejewski Jr., MD, PhD serves as the Program Director for this fellowship program under the core Pathology residency program. The Baystate Medical Center residency in Pediatrics was re-accredited for 4 years at the October 15 2006 meeting of the Residency Review Committee for Pediatrics. The re-accreditation was the follow-up to the program's March 2006 site visit. Program Director for this residency program is Barbara Stechenberg, MD.
