ANNOUNCEMENTS Collaborative Biomedical Research Program Call for Proposals November 16th The next deadline for submission of Grant Proposals is November 16th. Applicants will be notified of decisions by mid-December. Information on proposal guidelines. Baystate Health Research Incubator Fund Enters Its Third Year of Providing "Seed" Money October 12th is Deadline to Submit Letter of Intent As in 2006 & 2007, the goal of the Incubator Fund is to provide internal grants in the form of “seed” money to encourage research by incumbent BH faculty. The goal of this program is to support projects that will lead to novel external funding within 3 years. Approved projects will be funded in early 2008. The application process is in two-stages, with a brief initial Letter of Intent (LOI) followed by a full proposal for those with approved LOIs.

Faculty Research Opportunities for Students Some of the third-year medical students who are at Baystate Medical Center for their entire third year desire to participate and assist in clinical research projects. If you would like to enlist the help, and also mentor a third-year student in research this year, please send a brief description of your project with outline your expectations to Jodi Manning in the Division of Academic Affairs.
