Location: TUSM Hirsh Health Sciences Library, 5th floor Computer Lab


Learn methods of basic test item construction including the identification of basic test/assessment item types and applying the appropriate use of test item types. Develop skills to utilize TUSK for posting a variety of on-line quizzes and tests (MCQs, fill-in, essay). Repeat of workshop offered on November 29, 2007. Will also be offered on March 6, 2008, 3-5 pm.

5th Annual Academic Technology Health Sciences Mini-Symposium: Exploring Strategies for Engaged Learning
Time: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Location: TUSM Sackler 827


This half-day conference includes morning and afternoon workshops that focus on the engaged learner and the application of academic technology to enhance teaching and learning. 


The keynote, "Learning in a Clinical Setting", will be presented by LuAnn Wilkerson EdD, Professor of Medicine and Senior Associate Dean for Medical
Education, David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA.


On-line registration will be available in early February.
