Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center (MTTC) Investigator Awards

Statements of Intent Accepted Through March 14, 2008


Up to 10 awards of $40,000 each will be awarded. These awards are intended to support the demonstration of the commercial viability of a technology. Funding could be used to develop a prototype or to gather initial data in order to show proof of concept or to obtain data that shows how the technology compares to existing technologies. If you would like to be placed on an e-mail list for receiving notification regarding grants, email Michele Bernier. Visit the MTTC website for more information.


MTTC will accept Statements of Intent for the Spring 2008 round of Investigation Awards until March 14th. Please contact Baystate's Director of Technology Transfer, David Glass, if you are interested in submitting a Statement of Intent.

9th Annual Research Week Keynote Speaker Announced

The Keynote speaker for this year’s Research Week is David C. Leach, MD, former Executive Director of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). During his tenure as Executive Director he transformed the ACGME in its mission to improve the quality of health care by ensuring and improving the quality of graduate medical education programs.


Abstract Submission Deadline is Friday, April 11th

Research Week abstracts may be submitted through your Program's Education Coordinator or electronically by using the Research Week 2008 Abstract Submission Form.


Poster Requirements

Posters must be attached to foam board for display at Research Week. Foam board and easels will be available. A good vendor for poster printing is www.postersession.com.
