ANNOUNCEMENTS Application Deadline for the Next Round of CBR Research Grants is Monday June 29, 2009 Beginning with this round, CBR grants will have 1 cycle a year. Each proposal must have a clinical Co-Principal Investigator from Baystate Medical Center and a Co-Principal Investigator from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Charlton Research Awards Application Deadline is May 29, 2009 at 5:00 pm The Charlton Research Awards are for projects likely to lead to funding from traditional sources of extramural support such as the NIH, NSF and ACS. Up to 4 grants for approximately $9,000 will be awarded for the period from 7/01/09 to 6/30/10. Priority will be given to new investigators with faculty appointments no earlier than 7/1/02. to be eligible, applicants must have a Tufts University faculty appointment at least at the level of assistant professor by 7/1/09.. Additionally, eligibility is restricted to TUSM faculty whose total extramural support (direct costs less PI salary) does not exceed $100,000/year. Individuals who have received Charlton Awards previously are not eligible. Funds may not be used to support the salary of the PI. Download Application materials and instructions (Word doc).
