Clinical Mindfulness Pilot Study for Physicians Now Recruiting


A pilot study entitled Enhancing Physician Resiliency & Improving Patient Care, which includes 47 hours of instruction, will start in September 2012 and conclude in 2013.

Based on a successful program that was developed at the University of Rochester, this study will assess the impact of a Clinical Mindfulness Program on improving physician resiliency, attentiveness and other attributes associated with patient-centered care. (Download study information.)

The study is open to any physician on staff at a Baystate Health hospital (including non-Baystate Health employed physicians), and who is a current member of Baycare Health Partners. It is funded by Baystate Health Risk Management Grant program.
